The purpose of the BYU Management Society is to develop careers, provide networking opportunities, serve the community, and help build the future throughout the world. Chapters, both locally and internationally, are fulfilling this purpose in big ways! One such example is the Accra Ghana chapter. This chapter has been working hard to raise awareness of the Management Society in Ghana, both through service and through guest lectures.
On March 25th, they hosted William Kwaku Sowah (head of Investor Services-Stanbic Bank) in a lecture entitled "What Employers Want in Graduates". This lecture was attended by the local YSA group, BYUI Students, Pathway Senior Couples and others.
Additionally, the Ghana chapter recently donated various materials to the Palace Gold Child Support Center, a child support center in the outskirts of Accra. A few of the members of the chapter had the opportunity to bring the materials to nearly 60 children, and play games with them at the center.
