Campinas Brazil Chapter New President 09-09-2017

A new Chapter President for Campinas Brazil Chapter has been appointed. André Cunha Silva formally assumed as chapter president on Aug 30th during a lunch with Paulo Loureiro, Lincoln Martins and Michel Chain.

After 3 years of service as the chapter president, Michel Chain, general manager at Taco Bell Brazil, assumes as Past President. In this position Chain, continues as member of the board giving all support as leader and trainer for the chapter.

André Cunha e Silva is an entrepreneur that holds a BBA from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas and an MBA from BYU Marriott School of Business. André studied high school in Spain and after returning to Brazil worked as a Spanish teacher for the FISK Schools, one of the biggest Language School Chains in Brazil.  During his university years,he had the chance to open his own language school inside PUC-Campinas. He taught Spanish for college students during 8 years. André also started a cosmetic store during his last year at the university and a software company in 2010. During his MBA at BYU, André had the chance to work for Xerox and after graduation he joined an EduTech Startup called Movie Mouth in Salt Lake City, later bringing the company operations to Brazil. André is currently acting as Senior Business Development Manager for Millennium, Marketing and Sales Consultant for DEAHH and as an Independent Consultant for Aloha. 

André is married to Silvia Vallezi Cunha e Silva and the couple has 4 children. He is excited about the opportunity of helping the BYU MS Brazil Campinas Chapter to expand and to fulfill its mission to grow his members and foster Ethical Leadership around the World.
