2018 Women in Leadership Conference Recap 04-25-2018

The 2018 Women in Leadership Conference was held on Friday, March 30th at BYU. Sponsored by the BYUMS Women in Business and the JRCLS Women in Law, this conference involved many talented professional women and students in all areas of leadership and from many professions. We sincerely thank all of those who participated in making this conference happen and for all those who attended.

Female leaders who attended were empowered make a difference and move forward in their individual leadership paths.  Dr. Katrina Lantos-Swett of the Lantos Foundation for Human Rights and Justice inspired us with a training on “Women of Vision.” We had incredible breakout sessions this year: “Managing Work-Life Integration,” “Thriving in a Male Dominated Field,” “Women in Politics,” “Personal Brand,” The Value of Education,” and “Religious Freedom: The Power of Women of Faith.”

Women were able to connect with one another, bring their personal questions to the table, and receive advice from other professionals. Students received mentoring and connections. Whether it was for professional development or personal/professional growth, this year’s conference met and exceeded expectations.
